Monthly Journaling December 2017.

Hey guys! Hope everyone had a great break and an awesome Christmas if that’s what you celebrate. 💓💓 So for one of my Christmas presents from my grandma on my dad’s side I got this adorable notebook. It has three sections with dividers 🙂 Each section has different paper. The first is lined, the second is graph and the third is plain clean paper! Perfect for drawing or just writing things down without structured lines.

So if you’re looking for any New Years inspiration or self-motivation for goals and other ideas for 2018 here it is !! Pictured on the first Page are some of my goals for 2018 and a cute piece of gold Washi tape. I find it’s great for adding small bits of flair to paper that’s otherwise plain, it’s also eye catching.

I love adding quotes and drawings in my notebook(s). When I look back I can remember where I was in my life when I wrote them down and how they made me feel at the time. Quotes can tell stories that aren’t normally told by people out loud. They can summarize situations and feelings with few words.

Pictured above is a new favorite of mine for every new year. You choose a word for your year. Use it when you’re needing motivation, you’re feeling down, or just wondering how to move forward. Maybe you’ve lost your vision of what you want to be this upcoming year or maybe you just need the extra reminder, then this is perfect for you. I also chose this year to create a phrase/sentence for myself. I read this page daily when I open my book so it’s a constant reminder of something positive to think of.

The final thing pictured is a collection of words in a T-chart list for what I should try to be more and less of this year. (I know I butchered the word engaged haha!)

Appreciation blog post for Chance. 💓

Hi there! So as you can tell by the title this is a post all about and all for my boyfriend Chance. I will spam you all with the cutest pictures and the sweetest memories!¡ So here you have 14 pictures of an extremely handsome guy that I am madly in love with! He’s a total sweet heart and funny, goofy, loving, and big guy. He’s 6’4 while I’m 5’4 we’re an unlikely pair that works well together physically and mentally. I am a social media and texting kinda gal and he’s a football loving foodie kinda guy. He loves to cook. I love to eat I think this will work out 😂😂. He’s the best at giving hugs I can promise you that! He makes me feel safe in a world that can make you feel anything but. I love the way he plays and talks about football, I love his dog even though the dog doesn’t love me back haha! I also love everything under the sun involving him that I didn’t mention. He compliments me verbally and in a relating to us sort of way. He makes me feel complete when we hang out together and when he smiles oh my goodness is it ever just the best thing. I have known Chance for going on 10 years in 2018. He’s been in and out of my life. We’ve always been good (sometimes close) friends. I was cautious on dating him, not wanting to mess with our friendly relationship. I am glad after a few attempts later I said yes, because here we are now. I am happier than ever. You are most definitely something special Chance. You are my high when I’m low, my faith to my hope, my sun to my moon, my fries to my chicken nuggets, you’re my rock, my Netflix watching, best hug giving, loving, smiling, sweet boyfriend. I love you bunches chance. ❤️

Thanksgiving travels and a brief life update!

Hey guys long time no see! I am a very busy gal. :)) I will try to make time for posts in the future to make sure I can create more content for this blog! School and my personal life has gotten my undivided attention these past few months, So with that said I intend to bi-weekly post at the least.

I have so many blog post ideas in store for you all! I am extremely excited for the month of December as there are many different life lessons and valuable moments from sharing time with family and friends during the holiday season that I would love to put/share on here with everyone. ❤️

So to start off this blog post I am going to show you some of my favorite travel go to pieces for basic outfits that are easy to throw on, and did I mention they’re uber comfortable !! This also includes a ton of monogrammed items, as I really do love a good monogram haha!

Back to school supplies haul / what I use yearly:

So since I started my blog later into the summer than expected I did not have the chance to write-up many back to school posts. So far I’ve written a freshman advice post and now this one. Here I will be sharing with you my favorite items for school, and what I bought* for this upcoming year. Disclaimer* I have a job so I was able to pay for some of these items myself, although my parents bought a lot of the items also.

So to start off with I’ll tell you about my backpack. I got it on sale online from the Vera Bradley website. It’s in the print northern lights, I monogrammed the front of it for a personal touch. Some functionalities of the bag are: Mesh pockets, Strong sturdy zippers, Four pockets and compartments (includes a laptop sleeve built into the back of the bag). The bag is perfect for traveling also, on the back it has a sleeve/cover for a rolling suitcase so that it can sit on top and roll with your luggage! I bought the matching lunchbox to go along with it. On my bag I have a luggage tag that doubles as an ID holder. There’s a sanitizer called “yoga babe” on my bag, it smells amazing!! There are two pockets on the side for water bottles and misc. items. The bag also includes a headphone holder for earbuds, so you can walk around listening or talking hands free.   My actual school supplies I bought: this is a lily Pulitzer planner.  Next are these Vera bradley pencil pouches (one is a three ring binder, the other is an “on the roll case” perfect for colored pencils).

Next up are some of my favorite pens : the paper mate “flair”   

Some other pens I purchased: first are the TUL pens, they’re retractable, smooth writing and soft ink. The jet stream blue, black, and red pens are great for grading papers, writing notes, and drawing.

First Blog Post / What you should know!

Hello there! you can probably tell by the title I am writing this as my first blog post! I am so thrilled to be starting this new chapter in my life! I started this blog for two reasons, The first being my friends and family telling me I should due to my love for talking and sharing my life. The second being my passion for writing & reading, (not to forget learning!) I have always loved English literature and anything having to do with creating. I love writing and creating stories both factual and fictional. In the past I have wrote books and short stories. Perhaps some time in the near future I will get back into that hobby, but for now I am focused on School, My Friends & Family, and this Blog (getting the ball rolling!)

 

So to kick off the start of this post I am going to give some fast facts or quick information you should know about me!

FAST FACTS:

1- I have four dogs, two shepards, a carolina brown dog (which is a mix of just about everything!), and lastly a chihuahua.

2- My favorite colors are light puple & baby pink.

3- My style ranges anywhere from preppy, to casual, to polished, and ocassionaly even sporty.

4- I do not play any sports, although I have tried many.

5- I love the rain, and cold days, perfect weather for my hunter rain boots or a nice sweater!

6- My favorite holiday is christmas.

7- I plan on posting weekly, maybe once or twice a week on here 🙂

Well that wraps it up for a short intro into my world. Can not wait to bring lots of fun content and a creative outlook to this blog!
